In Loving Memory of Sandy Shapiro With heavy hearts, we share that Sandy Shapiro, the founder of Sonteez Christian Apparel, went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2026. For 40 years, Sandy and his beloved wife Joyce faithfully ran Sonteez side by side, pouring their hearts into every piece of apparel and every relationship along the way. He was a devoted lover of Jesus, and his faith was not only something he lived — it was something he joyfully shared. Sandy never met a stranger. What began as conversations with customers quickly turned into friendships, and those friendships became family. He especially cherished meeting each of you beautiful souls every summer at the festivals — those moments fueled his joy and gave Sonteez its heartbeat. He leaves behind Joyce, his wife of 65 years, along with a legacy built on faith, love, and genuine connection. We will carry on Sandy’s legacy by continuing to serve our faithful customers with the same care, prayer, and passion he poured into creating Sonteez.
